Kamila Valieva, the 15-year-old Russian superstar who was expected to deliver her nation its third straight Olympic gold medal in women's figure skating, practiced as usual Thursday, hours after reports that she tested positive for a banned substance.

Valieva tested positive for a banned heart medication before the Beijing Games, the Russian newspaper RBC reported.

The British Boxing Board of Control Limited said it had informed both parties and promoters of the event on Wednesday morning.

The two fighters were booked for a catchweight fight, which would have been the third official bout between the Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn families.

According to a Mirror report, Conor Benn, 26, tested positive for Clomifene, a drug known to enhance testosterone in men. However, Eddie Hearn, promoter for the fight, insisted that the dispute should continue, as both the fighters cleared and tested negative for UKAD tests, which are acceptable to the British Boxing Board of Control(BBBoC).

Conor Benn failed the VADA’s drug test, though no official doping charges were implied.

Clomifene is used to treat infertility among women, though it can also boost testosterone levels in men. Hearn further insisted that Conor Benn hasn’t been suspended or fined, which makes him available for the fight.
