Active Covid cases decline by 85% in 30 days in state

Jaipur: State’s Covid-19 cases have declined rapidly as 13 persons were found infected with the virus in 24 hours. Jaipur reported just three cases, while other parts of the state reported 10 new infections. However, one person died of the virus in 24 hours taking the overall toll to 9,642.
State’s overall tally of Covid infections has increased to 13,13,288. On September 4, the state had 2,096 active cases. But in 30 days, they have reduced to 320, a drop of almost 84.5%.
Nine districts in the state do not have even a single active case, which include Barmer, Bharatpur, Churu, Dholpur, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu and Tonk.
In Jaipur, 70 active cases are still undergoing treatment, which are highest in the state. Jaipur has 21.8% active cases of the state.
In 24 hours, one person died due to Covid-19 in Bikaner. On Tuesday, 2,773 samples were collected for Covid-19 testing. Besides, in 24 hours, 32 persons recovered from Covid-19. TNN
