Business tycoon Anand Mahindra on Wednesday shared a cheerful video of airport staff celebrating Dussehra as they performed garba (a form of dance) at the Mumbai airport. The video was originally uploaded by TV host Nikhil Chinapa who captured the beautiful moment while he was travelling.

Mahindra found a comforting joy in the video which perfectly depicts the positive spirits of Indians and how they are always ready to dance out their worries in time of celebration. "The world's talking about how the Indian economy is a shinning light. It's not just our economy," Mahindra wrote on Twitter as he reposted the video which so far has over 633.2K likes on the micro-blogging platform.

The 67-year-old highlighted what the festival symbolises as he wished over 9.8 million Twitter followers a very happy Dussehra.

"The light also comes from our readiness to dance. Even as some countries wage war, we celebrate the victory of good over evil. Happy Dussehra everyone," Mahindra added.

It is that time of year when the well-known Ramlila is performed, gorgeous fairs are held, crowds swarm to see Ravan effigies burst into flames, and the aroma of traditional sweets fills the air.

Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashami, is a major Hindu festival. It marks the end of Navratri year and this year it falls on October 5, 2022. Dussehra is celebrated as the victory of Lord Rama over Demon Ravana and Goddess Durga's triumph over the buffalo Demon Mahishasura.

Earlier today, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi also offered his greetings on the occasion of the auspicious festival.

Taking to Twitter, he wished courage, restraint and positive energy to everyone on this auspicious occasion.

"Many many congratulations to all the countrymen on Vijayadashami, the symbol of victory. I wish that this auspicious occasion brings courage, restraint and positive energy in everyone's life," the Prime Minister tweeted.
