NOIDA: Greater Noida will get an Integrated Security and Traffic Management System (ISTMS), similar to that in Noida. Noida Authority Ritu Maheshwari has asked officials concerned to conduct an assessment and submit a report in this matter.
Maheshwari said, "During a visit, the CM told officials to implement ISTMS in both Noida and Greater Noida. Besides traffic management, the ISTMS will ensure health monitoring, municipal solid waste management and policing. I have asked officials to work on the project."
Currently, the ISTMS is fully functional at 82 locations in Noida. Equipped with 1,065 hi-tech cameras, the ISTMS will issue challans to traffic violators and help investigate criminal cases in the city.
Greater Noida also will get these cameras at intersections, entry points and near dumping sites and toilets. The system will integrate different types of data, which will link to the control room.

By December-end, 620 e-cycles will be available at 62 docking stations in Noida. The Noida Authority has selected two companies to provide the e-cycles in a phased manner.
