Absconding accused nabbed after encounter in Azamgarh

VARANASI: Following an encounter, the Nizamabad police on Tuesday arrested an absconding accused Ganesh, who was involved in many loot cases, near Gandhvi cold storage in Azamgarh district.
The arrested person sustained bullet injury in his right leg in exchange of fire. He was admitted to the Rani Ki Sarai community health centre for treatment.
The police recovered a pistol, a live cartridge, two used cartridges and Rs. 4,330 from him. His three aides were arrested on Monday and recovered 11 mobile phones and Rs. 12,960 from them.
