Soon Uddhav might not have anybody left in Sena: Bawankule
Nagpur: Implying that soon more opposition members will join the BJP, its state unit president Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that soon Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray might not have anybody left in the party.
“If Uddhav does not stop his taunting rallies, then even the remaining members will leave. And then on that political banner, it will be only two people left, similar to hum do humare do,” said Bawankule.
Responding to queries by the media primarily on NCP leader Ajit Pawar’s recent statement, that BJP won’t even realize when they go out of power, Bawankule said the opposition needs to do a reality check.
“Ajit dada keeps dreaming of such things. That’s fine but the fact is that there is no chance of anything like that happening. In fact, chances are there they might never come to power,” said Bawankule.
He even took potshots at Congress’ state president Nana Patole over comments on how Devendra Fadnavis will handle post of guardian minister of so many districts. Bawankule said, “Devendra dedicates his entire time for the people. He does not own factories or cooperatives or any other business. His only work is the service of people. So, he can handle more than 10 districts easily.”
Cornering Patole even more, Bawankule said, “Nobody takes Patole seriously. He keeps addressing press conferences like these and tries to show that he is very close to Rahul Gandhi.”
Regarding the crackdown by authorities on Popular Front of India (PFI), Bawankule said “We are saving the country from PFI. The authorities are taking appropriate action in the interest of the nation and safety of people,” said Bawankule.
