SoBo to Worli: 7.5km uninterrupted promenade soon
MUMBAI: A 7.5km uninterrupted promenade between Priyadarshini Park at Breach Candy and the Worli-end of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL) will lie along the Coastal Road. It will be over twice the length of Marine Drive, which is the city’s longest promenade at present.

Bridging the gaps
Three disjointed promenades had initially been planned on Coastal Road reclamations.
One point of break was Lovegrove Nullah, Worli. But now, a bridge is being constructed over the nullah to ensure promenade continuity for would-be walkers.

The other break was to be near Lotus Jetty, Worli. But now an old sea wall has been strengthened, and its top surface will be a part of the promenade.
