Simon Hofstetter has joined the private client powerhouse Charles Russell Speechlys in Zurich, Switzerland, as the firm moves to grow its Europe offering.
Having spent the last six years as a partner at the local boutique firm MBH Attorneys at Law, Hofstetter was earlier practicing independently. He is the fourth partner at the office and will work along with a team of six associates and tax experts.
Michael Wells-Greco, the head of Charles Russell Speechlys' Swiss offices, remarked that Hofstetter would be "an invaluable asset" to the firm's growing team in Europe. He added, "The firm's continued investment and expansion in this market mean we can offer clients greater service required in whichever region they operate."
The Swiss-qualified lawyer has over 15 years of experience in domestic and international commercial litigation, asset recovery and bankruptcy proceedings and corporate law.
He represents clients before courts and authorities of both German and Italian-speaking parts of Switzerland. He advises companies on corporate law matters, including white-collar crimes, M&A, changes in equities, shareholder matters, and corporate governance.
