Two Covid cases logged in city

Ludhiana: Two persons tested positive for Covid while no death was reported on Sunday. This took active cases to 13. Health officials said that 3,017 persons had died of Covid so far, of whom 1,141 were from outside the city.
Health officials also said that 39,82,152 samples had been tested in Ludhiana. Local health department officials said that till Sunday, 1,13,542 had tested positive for Covid, of whom 15,290 were from other districts/states.
Civil Surgeon said that till now, 1,10,512 Covid patients have recovered in Ludhiana district, which constitutes 97.33% of the total cases. tnn
