Karnataka Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday hit back at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi calling him a 'fake Gandhi'.The comment was in retaliation to Gandhi calling Bommai's government a "40% regime" in a latest escalation of the war of words between BJP and Congress as the Bharat Jodo Yatra entered its third day on Gandhi Jayanti.
Gandhi, accompanied by opposition leader Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president DK Shivakumar, visited the Khadi gramodyog Centre at Badanavalu village in Mysuru district where Mahatma Gandhi had visited.
The chief minister said he did not wish to talk about "fake Gandhis" on the auspicious day of Gandhi Jayanti.
Bommai said the entire Congress was out on bail as they all had corruption charges against them.
