Seven assembly bypolls in six states on November 3: Election Commission

The Election Commission of India (EC) today announced that bypolls to seven vacant assembly seats spread across six states will be held on November 3. The bypolls will be held in Bihar’s Mokama and Gopalganj, Haryana’s Adampur, Odisha’s Dhamnagar, Telangana’s Munugode, Maharashtra’s Andheri (East), and UP’s Gola Gorakhnath. The notification for the bypolls will be issued on October 7, the EC said. The result will be declared on November 6, the poll panel said in a statement.
