ReutersNEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
(up 20.0%), Rhetan TMT Ltd.(up 19.98%), Ltd(up 19.87%) and Wardwizard Innov(PP)(up 15.64%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 303.13 points down at 57123.79, while the 50-share index, NSE was 87.65 points down at 17006.7.
In the Nifty50 index, 18 stocks traded in the green, while 32 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Rhetan TMT Ltd., , , and hit their fresh 52-week high, while Shantidoot Infra Services Ltd., , , GKP Printing & Pack and touched their new 52-week low during the session.
