Inox Wind Energy(up 5.00%), Reliance Power(up 3.05%), Jyoti Structures(up 2.89%), NTPC(up 1.97%), Suzlon Energy(up 1.50%), Indowind Energy(up 1.41%), Orient Green Power Company(up 1.20%), RTNPOWER(up 1.15%), Limited(up 1.07%) and Inox wind(up 1.05%) were among the top gainers.
ADANIGREEN(down 1.89%), Hitachi Energy India(down 1.61%), Gujarat Industries Power(down 1.53%), Voltamp Transformers(down 1.46%), NHPC(down 1.26%), NLC India(down 1.18%), Torrent Power(down 1.15%), SJVN(down 0.81%), KEC International(down 0.79%) and Adani Power(down 0.46%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 123.7 points down at 16970.65, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 475.83 points at 56951.09 at around 10:50AM.
Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 5.72%), NTPC(up 2.04%), Cipla(up 1.83%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.78%), Coal India(up 1.72%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.14%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 0.94%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.78%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.71%) and Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.59%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries(down 2.57%), IndusInd Bank(down 2.13%), Maruti Suzuki(down 2.1%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 2.09%), Eicher Motors(down 1.95%), HCL Technologies(down 1.53%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.46%), Larsen & Toubro(down 1.45%), Infosys(down 1.43%) and ITC(down 1.41%) were trading in the red.
