Petronet LNG shares drop 0.13% as Sensex falls

Shares of the . traded at Rs 199.55 on BSE at 11:16AM (IST) on Monday, down 0.13 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 190.3 and a high of Rs 243.0.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 8.55 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 23.29 per share and 2.13 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 23,729 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:16AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 29857.5 crore and is part of the Gas Storage & Distribution industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 15.44 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 5.05 per cent fall in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 203.25 and Rs 198.95.

Promoters held 50.0 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2022. FII and MF ownership in Petronet LNG Ltd. stood at 34.83 per cent and 2.71 per cent, respectively.
