BJP diverting attention from main issues: Pawan Khera

MYSURU: Pawan Khera, chairman of Media and Publicity Department, AICC, accused BJP of fake narratives to deviate the public attention from Bharat Jodo Yatra. Those who cannot create history, write fake history, he said about BJP’s argument that Nehru is the reason for the partition of the country.
“All are well aware of the historical fact that it was Hindu Mahasabha leader Vinayak Damodar Savarkar who first proposed the two-nation theory in 1937. Later, a resolution was passed in this regarded by three provinces which were administered by Hindu Mahasabha and Muslim League coalition administration,” he said.
Former chief minister Siddaramaiah alleged BJP leaders never trusted and followed the constitutional values. “When I was the CM, I handed over eight cases for CBI investigation even though the central government was ruled by BJP. But the saffron party is not ready to hand over 40% commission allegations to CBI.”.
KPCC president DK Shivakumar said public response to the yatra created uncertainty and fear among BJP leaders.
