Lucknow: 1 dead, 5 injured as oil tanker collides with tractor in Sitapur

LUCKNOW: A youth was charred to death while five others sustained burn injuries after an oil tanker and tractor collided head on at Reusa-Biswan road of Sitapur district late on Saturday night.
The collision took place under Thanagaon police station area.
The injured people have been shifted to district hospital.
Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan, superintendent of police of Sitapur, said that the oil tanker comprised alcohol which is an inflammable substance and soon after collision it overturned in domino effect and burst into flames.
The locals informed police following which four fire tenders were pressed into service to control the fire.
"The identity of deceased is yet to be ascertained," said Sitapur SP.
