Tap water for all in Bokaro by 2024: Jharkhand minister Jagarnath Mahto

BOKARO: District officials were instructed to ensure that all households have clean tap water. Addressing a district level workshop on Jal Jeevan here, state education and excise minister Jagarnath Mahto said, “Nearly 62% of all Bokaro’s households do not have clean tap water.”
“The technical team of the Jal Jeevan Mission must be serious in identifying water sources, laying emphasis on repairing of roads after laying pipes for water supply. The construction of ongoing water supply schemes should be expedited,” Mahto added.
