Dist reports 3 new Covid cases

Ludhiana: Ludhiana reported three fresh cases of Covid-19 on Friday. The cumulative Covid count in the district has reached 1,13,538 cases, out of which 1,10,509 patients have recovered, 3,017 patients have died and 13 cases are active.
While 15,290 patients belonging to other districts and states have tested positive for Covid-19, out of which 1,141 patients have died during treatment at Ludhiana hospitals. Meanwhile, health teams collected and sent 2,098 fresh samples for Covid testing on Friday.
Health department said till date 39,78,160 have been tested for Covid in Ludhiana district. They added that on Friday the number of samples taken was 2,098 of which 1,661 were done through RT PCR and 436 through Rapid Antigen Test and 1 through Trunat. tnn
