The rollout of 5G in India is not an ordinary event in India's telecom history, Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani said at the 6th India Mobile Congress at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

He added, "It carries the keen expectations and the high aspirations of 1.4 billion Indians. With 5G, India will take longer and faster strides towards Sab Ka Digital Saath and Sab Ka Digital Vikas. India may have started a little late, but I want to assure you that we will finish first by rolling out 5G services across the length and breadth of India. And as an industry, we will ensure that we have the highest quality and the most affordable rates than anyone else has in the world."

He applauded the Prime Minister for an inspiring vision of making India a developed nation by 2047 and believes that 5G is the acronym of 5 Goals, which can transform the nation. Those goals are:

He also congratulates Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and the Government of India for their efforts to strengthen BSNL.

The expert in internet connectivity opines that 5G has the potential to create economic opportunities and social benefits. He further says, "It can help the country leapfrog traditional barriers to development, spur innovations by start-ups and business enterprises, as well as advance the Digital India vision."
