MANGALURU: The Indian Coast Guard, to provide accommodation to its personnel, laid the foundation stone for Type-III Married Accommodation at Kunjathbail, here on Friday.
The building construction project would be undertaken by Central Public Works Department. Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, minister for energy V Sunil Kumar and MLA Dr Y Bharath Shetty were present.
The married accommodation of 54 numbers is a nine-storied building with two basements for four-wheeler parking and the ground floor consists of two-wheeler parking. In addition, the infrastructure would be augmented by green building norms with features like 80 KLD STP, rain water harvesting etc. tnn
