Moderate rain likely from evening in Kolkata: Meteorological Department

KOLKATA: Kolkata is set to receive light to moderate rain from late on Saturday evening till October 5 under the impact of a low-pressure area over northeast and east-central Bay of Bengal.
The system is set to intensify into a depression. Kolkata could receive repeated spells of moderate rain on October 2 (Saptami) and October 3 (Ashtami). "The frequency of rain will reduce on October 3 and 4," said RMC director G K Das.
