Nurse-doctor tiff at MKCG

Berhampur: A face-off between nursing officers and house surgeons led to tension on the MKCG Medical College and Hospital campus here with the nurses staging a dharna and boycotting work for several hours on Friday. Trouble began when a nurse allegedly did not follow the instructions of a house surgeon on Thursday night. But the nurse that she did follow the directives.
“The matter was resolved amicably in the presence of police. They have now joined work,” said Santosh Kumar Mishra, superintendent of the medical college and hospital. TNN
