In June 2022, the Xiaomi-owned brand— Poco introduced a new device called Poco X4 GT. The smartphone has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display paired with up to 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. Beneath the screen, the phone runs Dimensity 8100 processor and Android 12 based MIUI 13 pre-installed. It has a 64MP triple rear camera and a single 20MP sensor for selfies.

- [September 15, 2022]: Xiaomi is rolling out an August 2022 security patch for the Poco X4 GT EEA variant. The firmware version V13.0.6.0.SLOEUXM is bringing whole new security enhancements. Interested users can download the OTA zip from here and install it on their EEA variant device running V 13.0.5 firmware.
- [June 27, 2022]: A new update is rolling out for the Poco X4 GT in the European region. The build bears the firmware version V13.0.3.0.SLOEUXM optimizes the system performance. Also, the system’s security and stability are improved.
