Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan produced jointly by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies has finally hit the screens today and has been receiving amazing response from the audience. Actor Chiyaan Vikram, who plays Aditha Karikalan, the crown prince and the commander of Northern troops in Sundara Chola's Reign, watched the FDFS of the film in the theatres along with his fans.The film released worldwide in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam today. AR Rahman has scored the music for the film. Chiyaan Vikram visited a popular theatre in Chennai to watch the film and videos of the actor from the theatre is going viral on social media. The star actor was also seen asking some of the fans if they liked the film.
