Goa gets new tourism secy

Panaji: Sanjeev Ahuja, a 2008 IAS officer, has been appointed as tourism secretary. He will also be secretary of the information technology department and chief executive officer of Goa CSR authority.
Ahuja replaces Ravi Dhawan who was transferred to Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu and was relieved on Friday.
Secretary panchayat Menino D’Souza has been given the additional charge of departments of education and skill development and entrepreneurship.
Swetika Sachan, director of industries, has asked to hold the charge of state taxes, besides her own duties.
Also, 13 officers of Goa civil service were transferred and given new posting during the day.
