Mandarin Oriental Palace Opens in Luzern, Switzerland

(27/09/22)  Mandarin Oriental has expanded its portfolio of luxury hotels in Europe with the opening of the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern.

The hotel has undergone an extensive renovation, overseen by local architects Iwan Bühler Architekten and London-based interior designers Jestico + Whiles, who have preserved the building’s rich history and heritage while delivering a contemporary design inspired by the beauty of the surrounding Swiss landscape.

Overlooking the shores of Lake Lucerne, the hotel is a stone’s throw from the charming old town and offers guests spectacular views of the Swiss Alps.

The luxury hotel features 136 guestrooms, including 48 of the city`s largest suites, four restaurants and bars under the patronage of Michelin star experienced Executive Chef Gilad Peled, a spa, and a variety of event and meeting spaces.

To celebrate its opening, the hotel has launched a promotion which starts from CHF 700 per night and includes guaranteed lake vistas, daily breakfast for two, a CHF 100 (CHF 150 for suites) dining credit, and what the property calls "distinctive destination experiences".
