A study by the US Defence Department showed that China was allegedly using the money America spent on national security research through double-crossing companies. According to a Defence Department study, China is consuming the meal the US Government is paying for. As per a recent study by the Federal Government, China deceives companies to get its hand on research used in national security.

Pentagon takes stock

As reported by AFP, the Chinese military is pressing to double its 200-plus nuclear warheads within a decade with the ability to launch them aboard ballistic missiles by land, sea and air, the Pentagon said in China Military Power Report. And in its first public estimate of China's nuclear capacity, the annual report said the country has warheads numbering "in the low 200s" in its nuclear stockpile, fewer than the 300 or more estimated by independent analysts.

Joni Ernst also disclosed that though the study was not public, she could see China's tricks to getting the research. Joni Ernst called the trickery to be beyond the essential boundaries of stealing intellectual property.

Senator Joni Ernst, however, revealed how China was playing tricks. She stated that China looks for companies that receive funding for federal research. Then, it hires such companies to work with companies engaged in China's military operations. After recruitment, the US company is dissolved, and the funding that it received from the US Government goes to a subsidiary company in China.

According to the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, the programs are valued at $3.2 billion, and the Defence Department constitutes $1.7 billion.
