Security at RSS headquarter, other places beefed up: CP
Nagpur: City police chief Amitesh Kumar on Tuesday said the security has been intensified across all the vital installations in the city including the RSS headquarter at Mahal “due to the ongoing festive season”.
The CP said this has no link to the nationwide crackdown on Popular Front of India (PFI) and its workers. Kumar added that the RSS being a ‘Class A’ categorized vital installation, it is on “high priority”. “Security audit of vital installations are being carried out on a regular basis,” he said.
Kumar said security has been stepped up at all vital installations and places of public interests where footfalls are likely to be more during special days. “Be it RSS, Dragon temple or Deekshabhoomi, security has been increased everywhere,” he said.
