‘Secret file’ prepared by NIA and ANO, claim Naxals
Nagpur: The central regional bureau of the banned Communist Party of India (Maoist) has released a press statement claiming the 63-page ‘secret document’, reported by TOI on September 19 and 21, was prepared by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and not them. They have blamed NIA and the state anti-naxal operation (ANO) cell for conspiring to start a fresh campaign against people raising voices against government.
As per the document, the Maoists had planned to infiltrate local associations and committees, like housing society and puja mandals, and also targeting special cells in key industries. The Maoists had made an exhaustive plan of action, training modules and strategies focused in the urban and semi-urban set-ups.
The Maoists have claimed that their political strategies are available online and collectively on the website bannedthoughts.com. They added that the security agencies have prepared a ‘secret file’ and issued it in the name of Maoists.
The reds claimed that NIA had framed political thinkers, social workers, intellectuals, activists and such people in the Koregaon Bheema case. After releasing the secret file in their names, the Maoists' central regional bureau spokesperson Pratap has claimed that NIA would now begin fresh onslaught on activists across India.
The Maoists have asked 'Agniveer' aspirants to try “read and internalize the contents of the secret file and get hold of the real truth and the ground reality before joining the Army”.
Naxal cell DIG Sandip Patil, who is also chief of the state ANO, said the Maoists have a specific strategy for spreading their urban network in one of the content materials — 'work in urban area' — which is available on their website.
“The Maoists have full-proof plans for strengthening their urban networks which are evident in many of their documents, records and literature seized by police,” said Patil. “The media has exposed the Maoist plan for urban expansion. We have not only material evidence from their website but also seizures of documents and literature left behind them after encounters."
