John Stamos is hitting the court once again in Season 2 of the sports dramedy series “Big Shot,” set to premiere Oct. 12 on Disney+.
In the second season, Marvyn Korn (Stamos) recruits unlikely player Ava (Sara Echeagaray) — whose public tantrum got her ousted from beach volleyball — in hopes of getting his basketball team’s games broadcast on ESPN.
Along with the premiere of “Big Shot” Season 2 in October, the streamer will release the MCU Disney+ special “Werewolf by Night” on Oct. 7. A tribute to classic monster movies, the horror-comedy adaptation serves as the directorial debut of music composer Michael Giacchino, and stars Gael García Bernal, Laura Donnelly and Harriet Sansom Harris.
The second season of “The Mysterious Benedict Society” is also coming to Disney+ this month, with the release of its first two episodes on Oct. 26. Season 2 will follow Reynie, Sticky, Kate and Constance as they embark on another mission to save the world from Mr. Benedict’s twin brother, Dr. L.D. Curtain. When the four gifted orphans discover that Mr. Benedict and Number Two have been kidnapped, they must solve a series of riddles and clues left by Mr. Benedict to foil Curtain’s scheme.
