NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Wednesday.
These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Sreeleather(12.53%), Khadim India(11.01%), Pondy Oxides(10.0%) and Olatech .(10.0%).
The 30-share Sensex ended 509.24 points down at 56598.28, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 148.8 points down at 16858.6.
In the Nifty 50 index, 18 stocks ended in the green, while 32 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as , , EP Biocomposites Ltd., and hit their fresh 52-week high, while , , Corp, Ltd and touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
