Government can issue a new tourism policy before the budget session this time, because many changes have been made in the new tourism policy. The government has discussed with all the stakeholders, tour operators, states, financial institutions related to this.
According to the media sources, the main focus of the new tourism policy will be on future ready tourism. Health and spiritual tourism will be promoted in this. The government says that the new tourism policy will be developed keeping in mind the Amrit Kaal and 2047.
In this, 76 new projects of Swadesh Darshan will be included. The places related to independence will be made tourism destination. There is a provision of Rs 7000 crore for tourism infrastructure. To promote tourism infrastructure, the network of rail, road, air connectivity will be strengthened in the country. By 2025, 220 airports will be ready in the country. This will ease the problems of the tourists.
The government will also streamline branding and promotion for this. Cultural heritage will be made better opportunities to increase tourism. Financial assistance for the tourism sector will continue till March 31, 2023. The government is moving forward on many projects like Ram Path, Shakti Path, Shiv Path. Keeping in mind Yoga, Ayurveda, such a new plan has been prepared.
