Voltas shares gain 1.43% as Sensex rises

Shares of the . traded at Rs 895.55 on BSE at 10:35AM (IST) on Tuesday, up 1.43 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 868.7 and a high of Rs 1356.9.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 60.04 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 14.84 per share and 7.49 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 17,267 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:35AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 29488.45 crore and is part of the Air Conditioners industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 26.58 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 2.94 per cent fall in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 901.85 and Rs 888.85.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 30.3 per cent in the company as of 31-Mar-2022. FII and MF ownership in Voltas Ltd. stood at 24.67 per cent and 17.27 per cent, respectively.
