The NSE Nifty index closed 8.9 points down at 17007.4, while BSE Sensex ended down 37.7 points at 57107.52.
On the other hand, .(down 3.05 per cent), & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.22 per cent), .(down 2.20 per cent), .(down 2.08 per cent) and .(down 1.62 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
