Gurgaon: Two security guards and a supervisor suffered injuries after they were allegedly attacked by a group of men with sticks in a residential colony in Sector 106.
The complainant, Girdhari Lal, has been working as a guard at Security Plaza-106 for the past eight years. On Friday, two white cars stopped at the main gate and around nine men armed with sticks came out. One of these men was also carrying an axe, he said.
“They suddenly threw chilli powder at us and started beating us up. My colleague Sugad Singh and our supervisor Rajesh were badly thrashed,” Lal told cops.
He added that the men were unknown to them and had covered their faces with a cloth. The car in which the men came didn’t have a number plate, Lal said. The men allegedly also threatened to kill them before leaving the place. Lal then took his colleague and supervisor to hospital. “Our office cabin was also ransacked and damaged by the group,” Lal said.
Based on his complaint, an FIR was registered at Rajendra Park police station against the accused, who haven’t been identified yet, on Sunday evening under sections 147 (punishment for rioting), 148 (rioting, armed with deadly weapons), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 427 (mischief) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) of the IPC.
