NEET aspirant hangs self in PG room in Kota
Kota: A 19-year-old Pune-based youth, who landed in Kota three days ago and enrolled himself for preparations to crack NEET in a newly established coaching institute, allegedly committed suicide in his PG room in Anantpura police station area on Sunday noon. The incident came to light on Sunday evening following which the body was retrieved from the room and was placed in the mortuary for post-mortem after arrival of his family members.
The reason behind the suicide was initially reported to be study stress and homesickness, however, no suicide note was recovered from the boy’s room.
The deceased was identified as Umesh, a resident of Pune in Maharashtra, said Anantpura SHO Pushpendra Jhajharia. TNN
