Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Tuesday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Sarthak Metals(12.97%), Prime Property(11.7%), STC India(11.53%), Ravileela Gran(11.41%), Frontier Spring(11.29%), Bharat Gears(10.62%) and Captain Technocast(10.0%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 106.32 points up at 57251.54, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 30.5 points to 17046.8.
In the Nifty 50 index, 26 stocks traded in the green, while 24 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as , , , EP Biocomposites Ltd. and hit their fresh 52-week high, while , , , and touched their new 52-week low in trade.
