COIMBATORE: State-run Co-optex has set a target of Rs 9.10 crore for this festival season in Coimbatore district. There are six Co-optex centres in the district.
District collector G S Sameeran inaugurated the
Diwali purchase on Tuesday in the presence of Co-optex president A V Vengatachalam. He said garments had been sold at 30% discounted rates since September 15.
Clothes such as silk and cotton saris, bedsheets, pillow covers, dhoti, lungi, chudithar materials and readymade shirts are available.
