Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Embassy Office(number of shares traded: 7.88 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 5.33 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 3.95 crore), Dish TV India(number of shares traded: 3.58 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 3.19 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 2.87 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.50 crore), Hind Const Co(number of shares traded: 2.25 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 2.20 crore) and Power Grid(number of shares traded: 2.05 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:39AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 39.85 points up at 17056.15, while BSE Sensex was up 180.28 points at 57325.5 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 1.97 per cent), .(up 1.90 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 1.69 per cent), .(up 1.67 per cent) and .(up 1.41 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 2.51 per cent), & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.08 per cent), .(down 1.35 per cent), .(down 1.13 per cent) and .(down 1.08 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
