Huge rush of devotees at Mata Vaishno Devi Temple on first day of Navratri

The nine-day-long ‘Navratri’ began with much fervour on September 26. A large number of devotees flocked to the Mata Vaishno Devi temple to offer prayers in Katra city of Jammu and Kashmir. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) has made all the necessary arrangements for the huge rush of devotees. Navratri festival is dedicated to Goddess Durga and her nine avatars.
