MRF shares decline 2.48% as Sensex slides

Shares of the . traded at Rs 80550.0 on BSE at 11:11AM (IST) on Monday, down 2.48 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 62944.5 and a high of Rs 93855.0.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap down opening in the morning.

A total of 399 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 11:11AM (IST).

The stock of MRF Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 34257.83 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 54.62, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 1.96. Return on equity (ROE) was at 4.76 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 18 stocks traded in the green, while 483 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 27.94 per cent in the MRF Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2022 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 21.93 per cent and 6.57 per cent, respectively.
