Indian billionaire Radhakrishna Damani's portfolio stocks and fell up to 8.6 per cent on Monday, amid a slump in the markets.

At 2.40 pm, shares of BF Utilities were trading 7.13 per cent lower at Rs 409.45 over its previous day’s closing of Rs 440.90 a piece. The stock has risen nearly 33 per cent in the last six months, while it has fallen about 10 per cent in the last week.

On the other hand, shares of India Cements were 5.35 per cent lower at Rs 239.90 over its last day’s closing of Rs 253.45 a piece. The stock has risen nearly 23 per cent in the past year while it has fallen about 17 per cent in the last week.

As of June 30, 2022, Damani held a 20.8 per cent stake in India Cements, his third largest holding in his portfolio, while he held a 1.3 per cent stake in BF Utilities.

Damani, who also runs retail chain or DMart, is the fifth richest person in India, according to IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2022. With a wealth of Rs 1.75 lakh crore, the 67-year-old Mumbai-based business magnate moved up two ranks to take the fifth spot in the rich list.
