Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 7.25 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 4.36 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 4.04 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.93 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 2.80 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 2.41 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 2.36 crore), Power Grid(number of shares traded: 2.32 crore), Dish TV India(number of shares traded: 1.60 crore) and IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 1.52 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:29AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 313.3 points down at 17014.05, while BSE Sensex was down 950.73 points at 57148.19 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 1.55 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.23 per cent), .(up 0.13 per cent), .(up -0.01 per cent) and .(up -0.26 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 6.57 per cent), .(down 6.02 per cent), .(down 5.55 per cent), .(down 5.33 per cent) and .(down 4.99 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
