BOJ's Kuroda says rapid FX moves undesirable

OSAKA: Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda said on Monday (Sep 26) that rapid currency moves were undesirable as they would have a negative impact on the economy.
The BOJ stands ready to take "various monetary easing steps without hesitation" if risks to Japan's economy materialises, Kuroda said in a meeting with business leaders in Osaka, western Japan.
