34 new Covid cases in Gurugram, 1 more dies

GURUGRAM: Thirty four new Covid cases and one death were reported in the city on Friday. The positivity rate has been recorded at 1.5%.
Gurgaon currently has 140 active cases, out of which eight patients are hospitalised. The health department collected 2,169 samples on Friday.
This month so far, Gurgaon has recorded 1,235 Covid infections. August saw 10,414 patients, while 5,695 were infected in July.
Meanwhile, Haryana recorded 58 new Covid cases and two deaths on Friday. At present, it has 323 active cases and the positivity rate is at 1%.
A total of 1,323 were given the vaccine jabs while 47 recovered from the infection during the day. One death each was reported from Gurugram and Kaithal. On the vaccination front, first dose was given to 234 persons and second dose was given to 184 persons while 905 were given the booster dose.
