Fire in factory on Halol Road

Vadodara: Major fire broke out in a private company on Halol Road on Friday night. About five fire tenders from Vadodara were rushed to the spot to douse the flames. Fire officials said that it was a major fire call as the stock inside the firm’s godown was inflammatory. There are no initial reports of injury to anyone.
“We are trying to douse the flames but it will take a few hours. There was oil stock and batteries in the firm’s premises,” said a fire officer. The flames were so intense that they could be seen from a distance.
The Halol highway witnessed heavy traffic jams as the vehicle flow was stopped for a while.
The firm is located near Bhaniyara village.
