Leicester riots: VHP workers hold protest outside British embassy demanding security of Hindu community

Vishwa Hindu Parishad workers held protest outside the British embassy in the Indian national capital, New Delhi. The demonstration was held in response to the attacks on Hindus and Hindu temples in Leicester, a city long seen as a beacon of harmony. The workers demanded security of the Hindus and action against those targeting the community in Leicester city. Earlier, VHP had also criticised attacks on Hindus in the area and urged the UK prime minister Liz Truss to take appropriate action against the continuous violence against Hindus in the city by Islamic extremists.
