The next day when he reportedly called Arya's again, his phone too was found switched off. The friend then rang up Ankit, the resort's manager, who said she was in gym.He then spoke to the resort's Chef who told him he had not seen the girl that day.
After 8.30pm, her phone went unreachable. When after repeated attempts he could not connect to her, the girl's friend called Pulkit Arya, the resort owner, who said she had gone to her room to sleep.
According to reports, the victim had told her friend that the owner and the managers of the resort where she worked were mounting pressure on her to have sex with guests visiting the resort.

Ankita Bhandari murder case: Uttarakhand CM directs district magistrates to investigate all resorts in state
Following the alleged killing of Ankita Bhandari, Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday gave instructions to district magistrates to investigate all the resorts of the state.
Pulkit Arya is son of former Uttarakhand Minister and BJP leader Vinod Arya.
Three people, including resort owner Pulkit Arya, were arrested on Friday in connection with the alleged killing of Ankita Bhandari, who had gone missing about six days ago.
The 19-year-old girl from Pauri Garhwal, who went missing four days ago from a Rishikesh resort in Uttarakhand where she used to work as a receptionist, was allegedly pushed from a cliff into the river Ganga by the owner and his two employees for "refusing to indulge in prostitution with the hotel guests".
