Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 6.42 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 6.16 crore), Shree Ren Sug(number of shares traded: 3.26 crore), Dish TV India(number of shares traded: 3.01 crore), M&M Financial(number of shares traded: 2.77 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 2.77 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 2.47 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.24 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 2.23 crore) and Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 2.04 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:10AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 192.45 points down at 17437.35, while BSE Sensex was down 649.37 points at 58470.35 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.09 per cent), .(up 1.50 per cent), .(up 1.06 per cent), .(up 1.01 per cent) and .(up 0.54 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 4.68 per cent), Mahindra & .(down 3.40 per cent), .(down 2.69 per cent), .(down 2.51 per cent) and .(down 2.43 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
