Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren assured the Anganwadi workers and assistants that all the Anganwadi centers in Jharkhand will be equipped. All basic facilities including electricity, water and toilets will be provided.
The state government will continue to take concrete decisions regarding honorarium and facilities for the workers' secure future. Not only this, resources are being raised so that they can be given bonus. On this occasion, the Sevika-Sahayaks thanked the CM for approving the selection and honorarium (with other conditions) rules 2022 by the state government.
The Chief Minister said that the first phase of the Sarkar Aapke Dwar program was very effective. Now the second phase of this program is being started. People are urged to join the schemes even at this stage. He said that he would also personally participate in this program and after being aware of the problems faced by the villagers, they would solve them.
Soren also said that drought like conditions have arisen in Jharkhand due to less rainfall. In such a situation, many schemes are being brought for the farmers, labourers and villagers so that they can get employment in their own villages and homes and do not migrate. The Chief Minister said to the Anganwadi women workers, "The way you had provided free food to the needy during the covid period. Similarly, cooperate with the government in dealing with drought."
